Vampire princess Solange's inability to control her bloodlust (and the sinister voice in her head) endangers her human boyfriend and best friend and sows unrest among the vampire factions. Meanwhile, her brother Nicolas is kidnapped by vampires with an unclear agenda. There's plenty of exciting action and romance, but little character development and few real answers make for a confusing series entry.
